PDMI’s Human Resources Team Achieves Excellence in HR Recognition
POLAND, OHIO (July 31, 2023) — The PDMI Human Resources Team was recently named a finalist in the Crain’s Cleveland Business Weekly’s 2023 Excellence in HR Awards.
Recognized in the category of Employee Experience & Retention, the team was acknowledged for its strategic approach to improving employee experience and retention while increasing productivity, performance, and staff engagement. The team was selected from a large field of nominees across Northeast Ohio.
“We are excited to be recognized as a finalist in the Excellence in HR Awards,” said Lisa Durbin, Director of Human Resources. “This recognition symbolizes our commitment to fostering an environment where the well-being of all employees is at the forefront of all that we do. We embrace the power of feedback and turn voices into action to continue to shape the culture of PDMI.”
The team also oversees human resources for PDMI’s sister company, IDMI. Over the past several years, the team has been integral to the organization implementing a slew of new programs and benefits, including Paid Parental Leave, a robust Training and Development Program, an Employee Recognition Tool, a DEI Council, and more, all designed to provide staff with a positive and engaging culture that supports a positive work-life integration.
“Our Human Resources Department has been instrumental in shaping a culture that empowers each of our employees,” said Tom Faloon, Chief Operating Officer. “Their careful consideration of employee insight has helped to foster an environment in which we all can thrive.”
The finalists in the 2023 Excellence in HR Awards were unveiled in a special supplement produced by Crain’s Content Studio-Cleveland and published in Crain’s Cleveland Business on July 31. On Thursday, August 10, the team will be recognized at a banquet where the winners in each of the five nominating categories will be announced. Team members are:
