Access and Connectivity
PDMI provides our clients with data access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our secure on-line data warehouse. This program includes the same level of security we use for all of our Internet transactions.
The data warehouse may only be accessed by a client’s designated representative(s). Each authorized user is provided with a login name and password. All transactions are encrypted.
PDMI offers multiple interfaces for clients to access our system:
- PDMI On-line System – This offers full system functionality (including access to cardholder and benefit information). This system can be accessed securely from any Java-enabled web browser equipped with a high-speed Internet connection.
- Real-time Eligibility Vehicle (REV) System – This offers clients a real-time SOAP-based (WebService) interface to update and query PDMI’s system. Areas include cardholder records and exceptions/overrides. PDMI can also provide custom functions selected by the client via this interface.
- Real-time Accessible Claims (RAC) System – This allows the client to receive real-time claims data from PDMI through a client-provided SOAP-based (WebService) interface.
- Real-time Submission of Claims On-line (RoSCO) System – This allows pharmacy providers or clients to bypass the switching companies and securely submit claims directly to PDMI using a high-speed Internet connection. Clients access this system using a SOAP-based (WebService) interface.
PDMI also supports batch data file transfers using FTP/PGP, SFTP or web-based transfers.
